Crypto faucet safety tips

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Most crypto faucets are harmless, but scam sites exist. These rules help you stay safe.

Never pay to claim

A real faucet pays you. If a site asks for a deposit, a fee or an upgrade before you can withdraw, leave.

Never share secrets

No faucet needs your password, private key or seed phrase. FaucetPe only asks for your FaucetPay email and never asks for anything else.

Check the address bar

Make sure you are on the real website and that the page uses https. Be careful with links from chats and social media.

Be realistic about rewards

Faucet rewards are tiny. Claims of huge or guaranteed income are a warning sign.

Use one account and your own wallet

Multiple accounts and bots can get you blocked. Withdraw to a wallet you control, and keep your FaucetPay account secured with a strong, unique password.

Know the limits

Crypto prices change quickly and nothing here is financial advice. Read our disclaimer and privacy policy.
